Support & Improvements is the work that goes beyond routine hosting maintenance. It’s the practical, hands-on changes and adjustments that help your site evolve, stay up-to-date, and work exactly how you need it to — without guesswork, delays, or technical confusion.
Here’s the simple process I use so expectations stay clear and nothing gets lost in translation:
1. Message me what you want changed (or what’s broken)
2. I confirm scope + time estimate (usually quickly)
3. I do the work and send confirmation.
1. Send access + a quick description of the issue or goal.
2. I review the setup first (theme, plugins, hosting, any risks)
3. I recommend the next step — fix, rebuild, or move to my hosting.
If it’s urgent, please say so.
Support & Improvements is billed separately from hosting and routine maintenance so there’s no confusion about what’s included and what’s custom work.
Work may be handled hourly, in defined time blocks, or scoped as a project depending on what’s needed. If you’re a hosting customer, turnaround tends to be faster because I already manage your environment and context.
A brief note on quick changes: the 15-minute rule
If you’re a hosting customer and a request takes less than 15 minutes and is not urgent, there won’t be a charge for the update.
Routine maintenance is included with hosting. Changes, fixes, and improvements are not automatic and are handled as support work so expectations stay clear on both sides.
